Kurna Spa at Four Seasons Sultanahmet

Kurna Spa is the current name of the spa at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet. The official menu centres on Turkish hammam rituals, massage, facials and shorter targeted treatments.

The spa operates daily from 09:00 to 21:00. The hotel's fitness centre follows a separate schedule, so spa treatment hours should not be inferred from gym access.

Massage choices currently include Swedish, Balinese, Abhyanga, deep tissue, back-and-shoulder and foot formats. Published durations range from 45 to 90 minutes depending on service.

The official massage page displays prices in euros and states that prices are subject to 18% VAT. Treatments and prices can change, so request the final amount for the booking date.

Hammam options include a traditional Turkish ritual and a named Shaman Hammam. Ask for each stage, use of steam and marble, exfoliation, foam cleansing and hands-on time.

Facials use Biologique Recherche services including Lift C.V.S, Soin Lissant and VIP O2 on the current page. Product suitability should be checked for sensitive or recently treated skin.

Four Seasons describes advanced booking for body treatments, massage, hammam and facials. A confirmation should identify treatment, duration, practitioner preference, price, VAT and cancellation deadline.

Spa guests must be at least 16 for a facial and at least 18 for massage or body treatment. Families should not assume that a child can accompany an adult into treatment or wet areas.

The Sultanahmet property promotes extended pool privileges at its sister Four Seasons hotel on the Bosphorus, reached by arranged transfer. These pools are not located inside Kurna Spa.

Pool transfer and access depend on hotel arrangements and eligibility. A spa booking alone should not be represented as automatic access without written confirmation.

Official hotel facts describe treatment rooms, changing facilities and steam and sauna rooms. Ask whether these are included before or after the selected service and whether time limits apply.

Claims about restoration, circulation, energy, detoxification or anti-ageing in treatment descriptions are hospitality and cosmetic claims, not guaranteed clinical outcomes.

The verified spa contact is +90 212 402 30 55 and [email protected]. The property address is Tevkifhane Sokak No. 1, Sultanahmet-Eminönü, Istanbul, Türkiye.

Arrive early enough for consultation and changing. Ask whether late arrival shortens treatment and whether changing time is included in the displayed duration.

Disclose pregnancy, allergies, fragrance sensitivity, skin conditions, recent procedures, surgery, injury, medication and heat sensitivity. Hammam exfoliation and firm pressure may require adaptation.

Agree therapist gender, draping, pressure and areas to avoid. Stop treatment or leave heat facilities if pain, burning, dizziness, numbness, breathing difficulty or distress occurs.

The Istanbul award association remains consistent. This revision corrects the current spa name and removes unsupported claims about hot stone, lymphatic drainage, couples facilities and a generic relaxation lounge.
