Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La Bosphorus Istanbul

Chi, The Spa is the treatment spa at Shangri-La Bosphorus Istanbul. The current official page presents Asian and Turkish influences through massage, private hammam and personalised treatment planning.

Published hours are 10:00 to 22:00. Advance booking is recommended, and the dedicated appointment page provides direct spa contact details.

The current menu includes traditional and luxury hammam options, body scrub, wrap, massage, facials and selected enhancements. Many treatments can be arranged for couples on request.

Massage categories include Chinese-style acupressure, deep tissue, relaxation, hot stone, pregnancy care, foot reflexology and focused neck-and-back work, subject to the live menu.

A hammam booking should state whether the facility is private, which stages are therapist-delivered, and whether exfoliation, foam wash, mask, steam or massage are included.

The official etiquette says reception conducts a brief consultation. Guests should disclose pregnancy or health issues so treatment selection can be adjusted.

Guests are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the appointment. Late arrival can shorten treatment when another booking follows.

Spa wear is provided in the treatment suite. Facial gowns, Thai pyjamas or disposable underwear may be supplied depending on service, and towel draping is used for privacy.

The policy asks for at least four hours' cancellation notice. A no-show or cancellation inside four hours incurs a 100% cancellation fee.

Published prices are subject to a 5% service charge. The accessible menu may not represent the final 2026 price, so request a dated total in euros or local currency.

Children under 16 should be accompanied by adults according to the spa page. Minimum treatment ages and wet-area rules should still be confirmed for the exact service.

A useful confirmation should identify treatment, duration, pressure, practitioner preference, room type, price, service charge, arrival time and cancellation deadline.

If several services are combined, ask whether a complimentary footbath applies, how breaks are scheduled and whether each component can be changed after the consultation. Couples should confirm simultaneous availability rather than assume every listed treatment has two practitioners.

Guests can request changes to massage pressure, room temperature, sound, lighting, towels and other comfort factors. Consent and comfort should be checked throughout the service.

The verified spa phone is +90 212 310 5213 and email is [email protected]. The property is at Hayrettin İskelesi Sokak No. 1, Beşiktaş, Istanbul.

Disclose pregnancy, allergies, fragrance sensitivity, skin conditions, recent surgery, injury, medication, blood-pressure concerns and heat sensitivity. Hammam, hot stone and oils may require adaptation.

Stop any technique or product that produces sharp pain, burning, dizziness, numbness, breathing difficulty or distress. Spa services do not replace diagnosis or rehabilitation.

The Istanbul award association remains consistent. The existing slug still references Raffles, but the database route remains stable while the visible name and canonical content are corrected to Shangri-La.

Four archived images remain attached, leaving two required for the six-media target. No Shangri-La image has been copied without documented reuse permission.
