Massage Room and Wellness Facilities at Hotel Demetria

Hotel Demetria is a design-focused hotel at Avenida La Paz 2219 in Guadalajara’s Lafayette district. Its current official material documents a massage room, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and gym at the main hotel. Selected Master and Premium suite pages also state that massage can be enjoyed in the room. This evidence supports a limited hotel-wellness listing, but not the elaborate independent spa previously described in this record.

The corrected name therefore identifies the massage room and wellness facilities rather than claiming a fully documented spa department. No current official treatment catalogue, therapist biographies, massage durations, prices, dedicated spa reception, hydrotherapy circuit or facial and body-treatment menu was found on the pages reviewed. Guests should not infer those services from the presence of a sauna, jacuzzi or the word massage.

Demetria Bungalows, located nearby on General San Martín, states that its guests receive access to the main hotel’s pool, gym, massage room, sauna and jacuzzi. That statement is useful for identifying the facilities but does not specify hours, capacity, reservation requirements or whether access is included in every bungalow rate. Main-hotel guests and day visitors may have different conditions.

The Master suite page describes a large bathtub and the possibility of a couples massage in the room. The Premium suite page similarly refers to in-room massage. Before choosing a room for this purpose, ask whether the service is currently operating, whether one or two practitioners attend, which massage is offered, how long it lasts, what it costs and how far in advance it must be arranged. A suite reservation alone should not be treated as a confirmed massage appointment.

Use the hotel’s official reservation channel or telephone 800 3638 742 and request written confirmation of the service, location, practitioner, total charge, cancellation rules, hotel-guest eligibility and access to each desired facility. Ask whether the sauna and jacuzzi are private or shared, whether swimwear is required, and whether lockers, towels, changing space and supervision are provided.

Heat, water and bodywork services require individual judgement. Disclose pregnancy, recent surgery, acute injury, cardiovascular conditions, heat sensitivity, reduced sensation, skin conditions and allergies before booking. Agree on massage pressure, draping and areas to avoid, and stop for pain, numbness, dizziness, breathing difficulty or distress. Hotel wellness services are not substitutes for medical diagnosis or rehabilitation.

Accessibility is not sufficiently detailed in the reviewed material. Ask about the step-free route to the massage room, gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi; lift dimensions; accessible changing and toilet facilities; pool entry; treatment-table transfer space; and whether an in-room or seated session can be adapted safely. Bungalow guests should also confirm the accessible route between their building and the main hotel.

The current official evidence is enough to retain a carefully limited record, but not enough to present Hotel Demetria as a conventional luxury spa. Availability may change and the hotel website contains sparse operational information. Confirm every wellness element that is important to the stay before paying. Information was checked on 15 August 2026.

The inherited bedroom photograph belongs to the hotel context but does not show its massage room or prove a spa treatment. It was quarantined. Six rights-cleared wellness photographs are still required and no hotel, Google, Tripadvisor or booking-platform images were copied.
