Hyllit Hotel Health & Leisure Centre

Hyllit Hotel Health & Leisure Centre is the wellness facility of the four-star Hyllit Hotel on De Keyserlei in central Antwerp. The hotel is near Antwerp Central Station and the Diamond District. Its current official material describes a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness room, changing facilities and reception-issued access cards.

The current operator calls the space a Health & Leisure Centre rather than a treatment spa. No massage menu, facial programme, therapist roster or bookable body treatment is published on the official pages reviewed. Visitors should therefore choose this profile for hotel-based pool, sauna and exercise facilities, not assume that conventional spa treatments are available.

Access is reserved for registered Hyllit Hotel guests. The official facility page states a supplement of €7 per person per day, while selected packages or offers may include access. No advance reservation is normally required, but guests must collect a valid access card from reception. Prices, inclusions and eligibility can change, so confirm them with the hotel before booking a room around the facility.

The centre is on level -1 and is reached by the lift next to the main entrance. Current opening hours are daily from 07:00 to 21:00. The hotel says bathrobes, slippers and towels are available at reception. Ask whether these items are included or charged under the selected room or package and whether children, day visitors or accompanying non-residents may enter.

The indoor pool, sauna and gym support different types of use. Confirm pool depth, water temperature, sauna guidance, gym equipment, supervision and any age restrictions before arrival. Bring appropriate swimwear and follow posted hygiene rules. Anyone with cardiovascular concerns, fainting history, pregnancy, heat intolerance or a recent medical procedure should seek suitable advice before sauna use.

Hydrate, limit heat exposure and cool down gradually. Leave the sauna or pool area if you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath, nauseated or unusually weak. The presence of wellness facilities does not amount to medical supervision, rehabilitation or a therapeutic outcome.

The level -1 location makes accessibility confirmation important. The operator documents lift access and changing rooms but does not publish full details about step-free routes, door widths, accessible toilets, pool-entry aids, handrails, seating or adapted fitness equipment. Ask reception about each required feature and whether assistance can be arranged.

Four inherited images were checked visually. They show the identifiable Hyllit exterior, indoor pool, sauna and pool-side sculpture consistent with the centre. They remain useful venue context, but their photographer, capture date and reuse licence are not documented in the legacy archive. Two additional current, rights-cleared images are still required to reach the six-image publication standard.

The original directory entry linked incorrectly to Hotel Rubens-Grote Markt and used De Keyserlei 33. The current official Hyllit site gives De Keyserlei 28-30, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium, together with +32 (0)3 202 68 00 and [email protected]. Those details now replace the mismatched record.

Information was checked on 14 August 2026. Before travel, reconfirm room eligibility, the daily supplement, hours, age rules, towel and robe arrangements, accessibility and any temporary pool or sauna closure directly with Hyllit Hotel.

Because access depends on a hotel stay, keep the room confirmation and any package wording until departure. Ask whether planned maintenance affects the pool, sauna or lift on the visit date. The facility should not be described as offering massages, facials or clinical care unless Hyllit publishes a current service menu. The profile remains media-incomplete until six exact-venue images with documented publication rights are available.
