Hammam Al Ándalus Málaga

Hammam Al Ándalus Málaga is at Plaza de los Mártires 5 in the historic centre of Málaga. It recreates an Andalusian-style bathing experience with thermal pools, steam, hot stone, tea and optional massage or exfoliation rituals.

The core experience lasts ninety minutes, including any massage time booked within that session. Guests move through the bathing areas at their own pace and are called to treatment according to a wristband code. Late time cannot be recovered.

The hammam is mixed, and respect for silence, calm and other guests’ privacy is required. Swimwear is compulsory, either a swimsuit or bikini. Guests must shower before entering; a swimming cap is not required, but long hair should be tied.

Personal footwear is restricted to changing rooms. The venue provides changing areas and coded lockers, and official information lists towels and hygiene products for guests. Confirm the current kit and any item that must be brought.

Experiences range from the water journey alone to combinations with massage of different lengths, kessa exfoliation or more structured rituals. Confirm exactly how much of the ninety minutes is bathing and how much is hands-on treatment.

Reserve online, at reception, by calling +34 952 215 018 or emailing [email protected]. Capacity is limited, and the venue recommends booking two or three days ahead, with more notice for holidays.

Online and advance reception bookings are paid at purchase. Telephone or email booking can require card details with payment on the day. Ensure the payment channel belongs to the official Málaga branch.

Reservations can generally be cancelled or changed at least forty-eight hours before the agreed time. Later cancellation can lose the full payment or gift card, or trigger a full charge. Certain premium experiences and groups of ten or more require five days’ notice.

Prices and promotional sessions vary by day and time. Resident or student discounts require eligibility and availability. Do not assume a discount can be combined with another offer or gift card.

Heat, steam and temperature contrast can be unsuitable for pregnancy, cardiovascular or blood-pressure concerns, recent surgery, acute illness, skin infection or heat sensitivity. Seek individual medical advice where relevant and leave immediately if dizzy or unwell.

Before massage or kessa exfoliation, disclose allergies, medication, injury, skin sensitivity, sunburn, recent waxing and areas to avoid. Ask about pressure and products. Stop if there is sharp pain, burning or broken skin.

Claims about detoxification, circulation, recovery or integral health should not be presented as guaranteed clinical outcomes. Bathing and massage are wellness services and do not replace diagnosis or medical treatment.

Alcohol or substance intoxication can result in refusal and loss of the booked service. Follow staff instructions, keep voices low and do not photograph other guests or bathing areas without permission.

Ask about step-free access, adapted changing, pool entry and shower seating if required. A historic-centre building and wet environment can create access needs not visible in promotional images.

The profile currently has one published image. Five more are required for the six-media standard, but additional media remain pending until the operator supplies documented provenance and reuse permission.

Use the Málaga branch address and contact details, since Hammam Al Ándalus operates in several Spanish cities. Reconfirm the exact experience, session time and cancellation window before payment.
