The Spa at The Shilla Seoul

The Spa at The Shilla Seoul is the hotel’s third-floor treatment spa overlooking Namsan. It is separate from the Shilla Fitness indoor pool, jacuzzis, dry sauna and gym, which have their own eligibility rules and should not be assumed to accompany every spa treatment.

There is a current naming inconsistency across the hotel’s official pages. The newer Shilla Hotels home page calls the venue Clé de Peau Beauté Spa, while legacy navigation and hotel packages extending into 2026 still describe Guerlain Spa. The neutral profile name is retained until the hotel confirms the operating treatment brand.

Official package pages describe specialist therapists and body treatments, including selected 60- or 120-minute benefits. The current hotel home page describes post-treatment tea in a Namsan-view resting lounge. Exact programmes and cosmetic products must be confirmed directly.

A Shilla package page lists the spa on the third floor and hours of 08:00–22:00. Because the branding conflict suggests a transition or inconsistent site update, confirm both the operating hours and brand at the time of reservation.

The indoor fitness pool is 25 metres long and has indoor and outdoor jacuzzis plus a dry sauna. It is reserved for Shilla Fitness members and registered hotel guests, and it is operated separately from the seasonal Urban Island outdoor pool.

The fitness pool and relaxation zone normally operate 06:00–22:00 and close on the third Wednesday of each month. Capacity restrictions and maintenance can also apply. A spa treatment does not automatically establish access to these fitness facilities.

The pool and relaxation zone are generally limited to guests aged thirteen and above on weekdays. On weekends and public holidays, younger children may enter under adult supervision, and children under 140 cm must wear a life vest. Separate sauna and gym age rules apply.

Arrive early enough for consultation and changing. Confirm whether robes, towels, slippers, lockers and refreshments are included, and whether the booking grants access to the resting lounge, pool, sauna or jacuzzis.

Disclose pregnancy, allergies, medication, recent procedures, injuries, chronic pain, skin sensitivity and preferred pressure. Ask the therapist to identify products before use and stop if a service causes sharp pain, burning or numbness.

Pool, sauna and jacuzzi use can be unsuitable for cardiovascular or blood-pressure conditions, pregnancy, acute illness, recent surgery or heat sensitivity. Seek individual medical advice where appropriate and do not use fitness facilities while intoxicated.
