Otium Spa at The ShellSea Krabi

Otium Spa is the treatment spa at The ShellSea Krabi resort near Fossil Shell Beach. The official spa menu describes private suites, massage therapies, aromatic body care and post-treatment relaxation.

The published opening schedule is 10:00 to 21:00. Long treatments require an earlier start, so visitors should confirm the final appointment time rather than rely on closing time.

Facilities listed in the official menu include a jacuzzi, steam room and relaxation lounge. Fresh juice or herbal tea is offered after treatment according to that menu.

Private spa suites are designed for individual or shared visits. Couples should confirm room type, whether treatments begin simultaneously and which facilities are private or communal.

The menu presents massage and natural aromatic treatments, but the live selection, duration and price may change. Request a current menu rather than relying on older promotional descriptions.

The official etiquette asks guests to arrive about ten minutes before the appointment for check-in and a floral footbath. Late arrival may shorten treatment when another reservation follows.

Children cannot accompany an adult unless they are receiving a treatment. Families should ask about minimum age, supervision, suitable services and access to wet facilities before booking.

Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited within the spa. Mobile-phone use is discouraged to preserve the quiet environment.

The menu states that a therapist may terminate a treatment for undesirable guest behaviour. Consent, appropriate conduct and professional boundaries apply throughout the appointment.

A no-show may be charged at the full treatment price. Cancellation or amendment requires four hours' notice; less notice can incur 50% of the full treatment charge.

Because the menu file is an older official document still hosted by the resort, obtain written confirmation that the schedule, price and cancellation terms remain current for the booking date.

A useful confirmation should identify treatment, duration, pressure, therapist preference, room arrangement, wet-area access, arrival time, total in Thai baht, deposit and cancellation deadline.

The verified address is The ShellSea Krabi, 999 Moo 6, Sai Thai, Muang, Krabi 81000, Thailand. Ask where spa reception is located within the resort.

Hotel residency does not automatically establish that every treatment or spa facility is included in the room rate. Non-resident access should also be confirmed directly.

Disclose pregnancy, allergies, fragrance sensitivity, skin conditions, recent surgery, injury, medication and heat sensitivity. Steam, jacuzzi use, aromatic products and firm massage may require adaptation.

Agree therapist gender, draping, pressure and areas to avoid before treatment. Stop immediately if bodywork or heat produces sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, burning, breathing difficulty or distress.

Claims in the former profile about a 2026 custom journey, Dermalogica, resort-member discounts, early-bird rates, four-hand massage and therapists as “anatomical experts” were not supported by accessible current official evidence and have been removed.

The Krabi award association remains geographically consistent. This revision separates documented facilities and policies from marketing interpretation.

Four archived images remain attached, leaving two required for the six-media target. No ShellSea image has been copied without documented reuse permission.
