ISA Beauty & Massage — Mobile Service

ISA Beauty & Massage is a mobile massage service based around San José and Costa Rica's Central Valley. The current operator is explicit that it does not receive clients at a conventional day-spa address: therapists travel by appointment to a home, hotel, condominium, Airbnb, office or agreed event location. That distinction corrects the inherited profile, which presented ISA as a fixed boutique spa near the San José courts.

The official service catalogue currently identifies relaxation massage, focused muscle-pain relief work, deep-tissue or sports massage, hot-stone massage and couples massage. These labels describe different pressure levels and appointment formats, but they are not medical diagnoses or guaranteed outcomes. Clients should explain their preferred pressure, areas of tension, recent physical activity and any areas that should not be treated before the therapist begins.

The mobile format changes what a visitor should expect. ISA brings the treatment equipment and prepares the agreed private space rather than providing locker rooms, a wet area, reception lounge or permanent treatment suite. Before confirming, ask how much clear floor space is required, whether linens and music are supplied, whether stairs or parking affect the travel fee, and whether the building or hotel permits an outside therapist. Couples should confirm whether two therapists and two tables are available for a simultaneous session.

The operator states that service extends across San José, Escazú, Santa Ana, Rohrmoser, Curridabat, Alajuela, Heredia and Cartago, with broader Central Valley coverage considered during booking. Availability depends on travel time and the exact location, so a district name alone is not a confirmed appointment. ISA advertises daily operation from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., often with same-day availability, but the final therapist, arrival window and travel charge must be accepted through the booking conversation.

The current official page publishes a reference price of US$60 per hour per person plus travel. It also lists Visa, Mastercard, cash and Costa Rica's SINPE as payment options. Prices, duration, currency, taxes, travel charges and cancellation terms can change; request the final total in writing before the therapist is dispatched. A WhatsApp conversation is an enquiry until the operator confirms the date, location and service.

ISA says its founder and therapists hold Costa Rican massage training or certification. This is an operator claim about professional preparation, not evidence of medical licensing or authority to treat disease. Pregnancy, fever, recent surgery, acute injury, skin irritation, reduced sensation, anticoagulant use or other relevant medical advice should be disclosed. Hot stones and firm pressure are not suitable for every client, and treatment should stop whenever pressure, temperature or positioning feels unsafe.

The practical contact is WhatsApp or telephone +506 8591 1814. Because ISA is mobile, this directory records San José and the Central Valley as its operating area rather than publishing the obsolete street address. Guests in hotels should provide the property name, room-access rules and a reachable local number. Residents should share the exact map pin only through the private booking channel.

The retained imported photograph shows an ISA-branded mobile couples setup and is consistent with the service model. It came from the legacy Spa Awards archive with no named photographer, capture date or documented reuse licence. Five additional current, exact and rights-cleared photographs are still required for the six-image gallery standard; public website and review-platform photographs have not been copied without permission.

Information was checked on 14 August 2026 against ISA Beauty & Massage's current website, about page and Central Valley service page. Treatment availability, therapist assignment, travel coverage, price and payment arrangements should be reconfirmed directly for every appointment.
