Heritage Spa Marrakech

Tucked inside the labyrinthine alleys of Marrakech’s historic Medina, Heritage Spa Marrakech is a boutique wellness retreat where Moroccan tradition meets refined relaxation. This intimate spa, located in a beautifully restored riad on Arset Aouzal Street, offers a peaceful escape from the bustling souks and vibrant street life of the Red City. What makes Heritage Spa unique is its authentic approach to Moroccan wellness, rooted in centuries-old rituals, presented with a thoughtful touch of modern luxury.

From the moment guests step through the carved wooden doorway, they are greeted with warmth, scented with floral and herbal essences that transport the senses. The architecture and design of the spa pay homage to Moroccan craftsmanship, zellige tilework, arched passageways, handwoven textiles, and candle-lit corridors, all working together to create a cocoon of tranquility. The environment is deliberately calm and cocooning, placing the guest in a sanctuary that feels worlds away from the city just beyond the walls.

The spa’s signature offering is the traditional Moroccan hammam ritual, a centuries-old cleansing experience that remains central to Moroccan life and beauty. At Heritage Spa, the hammam experience is private and personalized. Guests begin by entering a warm steam room to open the pores and prepare the skin. Then follows a thorough exfoliation using savon noir (black soap) and a coarse kessa mitt, removing dead skin and encouraging circulation. A ghassoul clay body mask, often enriched with rosewater, argan oil, or eucalyptus, nourishes and detoxifies. The ritual concludes with warm water rinses, leaving the skin baby-soft and the spirit light.

The experience does not end with the treatment. Heritage Spa invites guests to relax afterward in the plunge pool area or on the rooftop terrace, where Moroccan mint tea and traditional pastries are served. Here, time slows down as the city sounds fade beneath views of the old Medina’s rooftops.

Renowned for its professionalism, cleanliness, and personalized care, Heritage Spa Marrakech has earned multiple accolades, including TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award. It has become a beloved destination for both tourists and locals who seek not only rejuvenation but a deeper connection with Morocco’s spa heritage. Heritage Spa is more than just a place for treatments, it is a cultural experience that celebrates the elegance and authenticity of Moroccan wellness in its most intimate and charming form.
