Elyseum Wellness & Spa at Grand Elysée Hamburg

Elyseum Wellness & Spa is the current name of the wellness centre inside Grand Elysée Hamburg. The hotel stands at Rothenbaumchaussee 10, opposite Moorweidenpark and close to Dammtor station. The official offer combines an indoor pool, three saunas, fitness facilities, massages, skin treatments and relaxation packages for hotel guests, members and day visitors.

The official spa page states that pool, sauna and fitness areas are generally open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. It separates adult periods from family periods and sets a general minimum age of 12, while younger hotel guests may attend during designated family hours with parental supervision. Schedules and exceptional dates can change, so verify the intended session before travel.

Day-spa formats include weekday time for two, hotel packages with a 50-minute full-body massage and spa use, and a Sunday break combining sauna, pool and massage. The site also describes scrubs, baths and varied massage options. Package names summarise hospitality offers; they do not establish practitioner scope, treatment suitability or a guaranteed result.

The spa publishes +49 40 41 41 2-735 and [email protected]. Confirm treatment name, therapist availability, duration, pressure, total price, admission inclusions, deposit and cancellation policy. Ask whether pool and sauna access is before or after the treatment and whether a day visitor needs a timed entry reservation.

Massage guests should disclose pregnancy, recent surgery, injuries, pain, cardiovascular concerns, reduced sensation and areas to avoid. Stop if pressure or positioning causes unexpected pain, numbness, dizziness or breathing discomfort. Scrubs, masks, oils and baths may involve fragrance, heat or active ingredients; request ingredient information when allergies, asthma, eczema or sensitive skin are relevant.

Sauna and pool use require separate judgement. Heat exposure may not suit acute illness, dehydration or some cardiovascular conditions. Follow time limits, cool gradually and avoid facilities when impaired. The official etiquette designates quiet areas and prohibits photography and calls; families must follow the published pool periods and supervision rules.

The reviewed pages do not establish every accessibility detail, including pool entry equipment, sauna thresholds, changing-room dimensions or treatment-table adjustment. Guests with mobility, vision, hearing, sensory or communication requirements should confirm the route from the hotel entrance, lifts, accessible toilets, changing facilities and staff assistance.

The retained legacy photograph shows the Elyseum pool associated with Grand Elysée Hamburg, but its capture date, current layout and reuse rights are undocumented. It remains as historical property context. Five current, rights-cleared images are still needed: exterior wayfinding, spa reception, treatment room, sauna or relaxation space and accessible route. No images were copied from Grand Elysée, Google, Tripadvisor, social media or booking platforms. Information was checked on 15 August 2026.

The hotel is opposite Hamburg Dammtor station and the official site describes a short walk via Rothenbaumchaussee. Day visitors should reserve before travelling because admission, massage capacity and packages may be limited. Confirm the entrance, arrival time, robe and footwear arrangements, locker access, whether towels are included and which pool or sauna periods apply to the booking. Keep the written reservation and ask how late arrival affects the treatment or facility time.
