Fairmont Spa & Wellness at Grand Del Mar

Fairmont Spa & Wellness is the spa at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, California. The official wellness page describes a 21,000-square-foot facility open to the public, with spa treatments available to guests aged 18 and over. It should be planned as a distinct reservation rather than assumed to be included with a hotel stay.

The facility has 12 treatment rooms, including a couples' suite. Services published by the operator include massage, facial care, hydrotherapy and soft-tissue treatments. A current highlight combines Swedish massage with a dry-float system in which the guest remains above a flexible membrane rather than entering the water.

Separate men's and women's lounges include fireplaces, steam and sauna areas and indoor whirlpools. A shared outdoor relaxation area, whirlpool and adults-only Relaxation Pool are also listed. Access to these amenities is tied to a scheduled treatment or a day pass, subject to the current rules.

The operator states that spa guests with an eligible appointment or pass can use the fitness centre, group classes, wet and dry saunas, indoor whirlpools and relaxation lounges. Robes, sandals, tea, snacks and day valet parking are among the published amenities. Confirm the exact inclusions for the product purchased.

The main wellness section currently publishes hours of 08:30 to 18:00 Sunday through Thursday and 08:30 to 19:00 Friday and Saturday. A separate FAQ on the same page states 09:00 to 18:00 daily and notes that hours can change. Because those statements differ, verify the appointment and facility schedule directly.

The spa accepts day visitors. The FAQ states that a minimum 60-minute service provides day access and that a facility-only day pass can be purchased, but prices are volatile and should be checked at booking. A treatment, a pass and a hotel reservation can have different access conditions.

The current cancellation policy is published as 24 hours, with the treatment charged for cancellations inside that period. Ask the reservation team to state the deadline in local time and confirm whether the same rule applies to day passes, packages and group reservations.

The address is 5300 Grand Del Mar Court, San Diego, California 92130, United States. The direct spa number is +1 858 314 2020. The official page links to its online treatment scheduler; use that link or call the spa to confirm service availability.

Guests should disclose pregnancy, allergies, injuries, recent cosmetic procedures and other relevant conditions. Heat, hydrotherapy, massage and technology-assisted services may not suit everyone. Treatment descriptions are wellness information and do not prove a medical or lasting result.

Plan the visit from the current spa facilities and booking conditions rather than staffing claims, restaurant distinctions or promised technological outcomes. Resort dining and outdoor activities remain separate from services actually included with a spa booking.

Daily valet parking is published as complimentary for spa guests. Resort guests also have a separate fitness-centre entitlement and complimentary scheduled classes, but those hotel benefits should not be confused with external day access. Ask reception to state which access rule applies to the reservation.

The official page was reviewed on 30 August 2026. Reconfirm the conflicting published hours, age rule, amenity access, day-pass availability, cancellation terms and any maintenance affecting pools or wet areas before travelling.
