De Rome Spa at Hotel de Rome

De Rome Spa sits beneath Hotel de Rome on Berlin’s Bebelplatz. The space occupies the former jewellery vault of the historic bank building and remains the hotel’s current wellness facility.

Official hotel material lists a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, Finnish sauna, aromatherapy steam room, six treatment rooms, relaxation area and fitness facilities.

The treatment programme currently uses Irene Forte Skincare for facial and body care. Products draw on botanical ingredients associated with the brand’s Sicilian sourcing and are used alongside massage and beauty services.

Current menu categories include facial treatments, body wraps and scrubs, relaxing and deep-tissue massage, head or targeted massage, manicure, pedicure and longer face-and-body rituals.

Day-spa access is sold separately from hotel accommodation. At review, an official Berlin price list showed EUR 80 for a day pass and separate prices for treatments and memberships.

The same price list showed spa and pool hours from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, thermal areas from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and 24-hour fitness access for hotel guests.

Because the accessible rate sheet is dated November 2024, current hours and prices must be reconfirmed. Maintenance or hotel events can also affect pool and thermal availability.

A treatment appointment should not automatically be interpreted as a day pass, and a day pass may not include treatment. Ask whether pool, sauna, steam, robe, locker and refreshments are included.

Arrive early for consultation and changing. Tell the therapist about preferred pressure, focus areas, allergies, medication, pregnancy, recent procedures and relevant health conditions.

Swimwear is required in public wet areas. Mobile phones should be kept out of the spa to preserve privacy and the quiet atmosphere.

Heat and steam require moderation. Hydrate, leave immediately if dizzy or unwell, and obtain medical advice where cardiovascular or other conditions could make thermal exposure unsuitable.

Irene Forte treatment terms such as rejuvenating, toning, age-defying or regenerating describe cosmetic goals and do not promise medical results.

The hotel’s current overview sometimes labels the facility Irene Forte Spa, while other current documents retain De Rome Spa. This record uses De Rome Spa and documents Irene Forte as the treatment brand.

The profile currently carries four published images and needs two more to meet the directory standard. Additional hotel images remain pending until Rocco Forte or another rights holder documents reuse permission.

The official address is Behrenstrasse 37, 10117 Berlin. The previous directory text included a parenthetical comment in the street field; it has been removed for a clean postal address.

The hotel telephone is +49 30 460 60 90 and general email is [email protected]. Ask reception for the current direct spa booking channel.

Before arrival, confirm the operating name, treatment, access category, price, thermal hours, fitness eligibility, cancellation rules and any health restrictions.

This location is Hotel de Rome in Berlin, not Hotel de Russie or Hotel de la Ville in Rome, which operate separate Irene Forte spas and menus.

The underground pool and thermal rooms can feel very different from the treatment cabins. Allow sufficient time to change and ask whether the booking permits facility use before, after, or on both sides of the appointment.
