Botanica Wellness Spa and Clinic

Botanica Wellness Spa and Clinic is a day spa and skin clinic in Melbourne's central business district. The current operator places it on the lobby level of InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto at 495 Collins Street. This corrects the inherited Queen Street address and updates the directory name from Botanica Day Spa, CBD to the identity used by the business and Victoria's current tourism listing.

The treatment overview groups services into massage and body care, skin health, wellness journeys, shared spa experiences and advanced or corrective skin treatments. The official massage page specifically identifies relaxation, deep-tissue and hot-stone massage, along with options for couples and expectant mothers. Enhancements may focus on feet, neck and shoulders, but availability and compatibility depend on the selected appointment.

Botanica also positions itself as a skin clinic. Current pages refer to professional-strength skincare, consultation-led product selection and services such as facials, dermaplaning, Dermapen and Korean skincare protocols. The word clinic describes the operator's skin focus; the sources reviewed do not establish a medical clinic or the right to diagnose disease. Guests should ask who performs a treatment, what product or device is used, what downtime is expected and whether a patch test or prior consultation is required.

The spa welcomes individual, couples and group bookings, but the size and format of shared appointments must be confirmed. A couples treatment may mean side-by-side service, while a group booking can involve staggered appointments or access to different rooms. Ask about quiet-space etiquette, changing arrangements, refreshments, robes, lockers, hotel facilities and whether any amenity outside Botanica is included.

The official location page gives 495 Collins Street, inside InterContinental Melbourne at lobby level. One older contact page still displays 525 Collins Street, so the current operator directions and Victoria tourism listing have been preferred. Guests should enter via the hotel at 495 Collins Street and ask for Botanica, while still confirming the arrival route when booking.

Victoria's tourism listing currently shows Tuesday 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Wednesday to Friday 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and closure Monday and Sunday. Hours can change for public holidays, staff availability or private groups. A booking request is not a reason to travel until the spa confirms the time and treatment.

The published telephone is +61 3 9620 5992, and the operator uses [email protected] for enquiries. Ask for the final treatment name, duration, therapist, price, card surcharge if any, deposit, cancellation window and arrival time. Visitors driving into the CBD should plan parking separately; the official directions mention nearby commercial or street parking rather than guaranteed spa parking.

Pregnancy, recent surgery, acute injury, skin irritation, allergies, reduced sensation, anticoagulant use or relevant medical advice should be disclosed. Hot stones, deep pressure, active skincare ingredients and device-based treatments are not suitable in every circumstance. Treatment should pause if heat, pressure, products or positioning feel unsafe.

The retained imported photograph carries Botanica's current wordmark over a spa corridor and is consistent with the operator identity. It came from the legacy Spa Awards archive without a named photographer, date or documented reuse licence. Five more current, exact and rights-cleared images are required; official and tourism images were not copied without permission.

Information was checked on 14 August 2026 against Botanica's current treatment, massage and location pages plus Victoria's official tourism listing. Location, hours, treatment suitability, prices and group arrangements should be reconfirmed directly.
