Aman Spa occupies levels 33 and 34 of Otemachi Tower in central Tokyo. The official hotel describes a wellness area of almost 2,500 square metres, designed around Japanese bathing customs, contemporary treatments, movement and quiet views across the city.

The facilities include eight treatment rooms. Each has its own dressing area, treatment space, bathroom, steam shower and relaxation area, creating a more self-contained appointment than a conventional open treatment corridor.

A 30-metre heated indoor pool sits beside floor-to-ceiling views. Separate changing areas provide traditional Japanese baths, Western and Japanese-style showers and aroma steam rooms. Aman calls this preparation area its Misogi facilities.

Guests booking a treatment are invited to spend about an hour using the water facilities before the appointment. This is a preparatory ritual rather than a medical cleanse, and the timing should be confirmed when reserving.

The current treatment programme includes a Signature Spa Journey with a body scrub followed by a massage combining Shiatsu and Western techniques. Seasonal journeys change their ingredients and emphasis over the year, so the live menu is the reliable reference.

Other bookable wellness experiences can include Japanese acupuncture, private yoga or Pilates, meditation and personalised movement sessions. Availability varies, and acupuncture or other specialist services should be discussed directly with the spa.

The fitness centre contains cardiovascular and strength equipment, while dedicated studios support yoga and Pilates, including reformer apparatus. The gym is listed as open 24 hours, whereas supervised sessions require an appointment.

At review, spa facilities operated from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm and treatments from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, with the last treatment earlier in the evening. Opening times can change for maintenance or private programming.

The official spa guidance recommends advance booking and arrival about ten minutes before a treatment for consultation. Guests are also advised to avoid a heavy meal within 90 minutes of an appointment.

Treatments, spa facilities and the fitness centre are generally restricted to guests aged 16 or over. Children aged 15 and under may use the pool with an accompanying adult, while infants wearing diapers are not permitted in the pool.

A minimum six-hour cancellation notice is requested. A late cancellation can be charged at the full treatment price, and notice must be given during spa operating hours. Confirm the rule attached to the specific reservation.

Prices are quoted in Japanese yen and the official menu states that service charge and consumption tax are included. Menu items, durations and prices can be revised, so use the current official PDF rather than older third-party listings.

Complete the health consultation accurately and disclose allergies, injuries, pregnancy or other relevant concerns. Treatments may be adapted, but suitability must be decided with the spa and, where appropriate, a qualified medical professional.

The profile currently carries four published images. Two more are needed for the six-media standard, but no additional official photographs will be copied until Aman or another authorised rights holder documents reuse permission.
