ESPA at Lucknam Park is a luxurious country-house spa set within the elegant Palladian mansion and walled gardens of Lucknam Park, just outside Bath. The spa seamlessly blends heritage charm with modern sensory design, using marble, wood, and glass to harmonize with the surrounding 500-acre estate. It’s one of only a few ESPA-branded spas in the UK, a rare combination of botanical wellness and luxury spa facilities.
Visitors enter into a spacious spa wing that houses a striking 20 m indoor pool and an innovative indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy pool that opens to gardens and Arboretum views. A salt-water plunge pool, experience showers, and five themed thermal cabins, including Japanese Salt Room, Amethyst Room, Aromatic Steam, sauna, and tepidarium, add to the restorative experience.
Treatment spaces include eight therapy rooms, two deluxe suites, a manicure/pedicure studio, and a relaxing social lounge with a skincare mixology bar. Highly trained ESPA therapists deliver a personalized journey using brands like 111SKIN, Natural Spa Factory, Carita, Anne Semonin, and CND for tailored facials, massage rituals, and wellness therapies.
Active wellness features include a fitness suite equipped with Life Fitness, Technogym equipment, and Peloton bikes, as well as an outdoor gym and a separate Well‑Being House for yoga and Pilates classes. Guests can also enjoy tennis courts, an equestrian centre, and woodland walking trails across the estate.
A range of spa experiences is available, from Spa Day packages like “Saddle & Spa” and afternoon tea offers, to extended wellness stays. These often include treatment, dining at The Brasserie or Walled Garden Restaurant, and full access to spa amenities and relaxation areas.
